LONDON ARTS BOARD CELEBRATES DIVERSE ACTS The London Arts Board today celebrated the latest awards to make under its Diverse Acts programme. Diverse Acts, which has already yielded one West End hit in London, marks the first successes of the Board's new program aimed at developing black theatre in the capital.

No Visible Wounds Some Voices with another chance to see their acclaimed production of... No Visible Wounds before it is staged in Liverpool. The play examines the treatment of people suffering with mental health problems, and has been so successful that Enzyme have been asked to stage it on five different occasions in three separate counties.

East Midlands Shape, Nottinghamshire Education Committee and Nottingham Playhouse present A Major International Festival of Integrated Arts in Nottingham from 21 - 27 June

9th London International Festival of Theatre In three weeks time 300 artists from across the world will be flying into London to take part in the 9th London International Festival of Theatre. From Hammersmith to Bromley-by-Bow and Battersea to Camden, London will host 21 productions from 17 countries.

THE NATIONAL GALLERY The 19th-century rooms at the National Gallery have now been rehung, following the exchange of paintings with the Tate Gallery. Over 50 19th-century paintings have come on loan to Trafalgar Square, while some fourteen early 20th-century works have moved to Mulbank. The exchange allows the National Gallery to present a richer, more diverse view of European painting in the second half of the 19th century than was possible before.
